APD stands for The Agency for Persons with Disabilities. APD assesses the service needs of people with intellectual and developmental impairments, who may receive social, medical, behavioral, residential, and/or therapy services.

APD Services provides a variety of social, medical, residential, and behavioral services. The following is a list of services provided. Services are offered in accordance with need and coverage criteria, thus not all individuals receive them.

Personal
Support
Personal Support Services offer essential assistance and training to individuals in their daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and heavy household chores. Our support plans are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Our caregivers are trained to provide a wide range of services to assist with daily living activities.
This includes:
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Using the bathroom
We also provide support with:
• Mobility
• Transfers
• Preparing meals
• Medication reminders.

Life Skills Development 1 (Companion)
This service provides non-medical care, supervision, and socialization activities to individuals aged 21 years or older. It aims to provide access to community-based activities that cannot be provided by natural or unpaid supports, resulting in increased ability to access community resources.
We offer a variety of engaging activities to keep you entertained and active.
